Senior Network & Security Engineer 
 

The Senior Network & Security Engineer position will report directly to Manager Network&Securty  and will be responsible for  IP/MSP core, access, and edge IP network, backbone, service infrastructure, MPLS network, security, and inside plant network. This includes:

  • IP Core, edge, and access network infrastructure, architecture, functionality, configurations, and documentation

  • IP transit and IP peering network infrastructure, architecture, functionality, configurations, and documentation

  • National and international backbone infrastructure, architecture, functionality, configurations, and documentation

  • Vendor NNI infrastructure, architecture, functionality, and documentation

  • Inside plant engineering of data centers (includes space, power, cross connects, horizontal, verticals, internetworking of services, etc.)

  • IP, MPLS, IPsec, BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, QoS, PIM, security, OOBM, MP-BGP, STP,LDP, BFD,GRE, architecture, functionality, configurations, and documentation

  • HLD, LLD, and MOPs for all scheduled PEWs

  • Planning and scaling of the network to meet current and future network resource requirements

  • Escalation recipient of Network Operations and Network Engineering on challenges they are unable to address

  • Experience in Checkpoint, Fortinet, Juniper Firewalls.

 

 

Requirments 

-Certifications in CCNP, or working towards CCIE R&S. 
-Cisco partner post sales consulting experience strongly preferred. 
-Knowledge or experience with Nexus 9K and ACI is a plus. 
-Knowledge or experience F5 load balancing, Palo Alto technologies, Cisco UCS, or Cisco MDS is a plus. 
-Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills with the ability to work well in a     collaborative environment. 
-Able to conduct research into networking issues and products as required. 
-Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail. 
-Able to effectively prioritize tasks in a high-pressure environment. 
-Strong customer service orientation with proven analytical and problem-solving abilities. 
-Related degree in computer science or electrical engineering and/or seven to ten years equivalent network engineering experience.

Network Support Engineer 
 

As a network support engineer will report to Senior Network and Security Administrator, you’ll be responsible for maintaining the systems that allow organizations to function and communicate, both internally and externally, on a daily basis.

Depending on your level of responsibility, tasks may include upgrading the company’s communications infrastructure or installing a new system. Specific projects will vary depending on the sector and type of business you work for.

The typical daily tasks of a network support engineer include:

• Installing new software
• Installing new hardware (servers, printers, computer workstations, etc.)
• Setting up user accounts, permissions and passwords
• Overseeing security of all systems, especially the internet, and installing antivirus protection
• Fixing network faults

Configuring CISCO routers, switches and ASA firewalls.
• Network maintenance
• Technical support for people using the network
• Training staff on new systems
• Day to day admin and monitoring of network use
• Planning future improvements, suggesting IT solutions to business problems
• Making sure all IT meets industry standards

 

Qualification 
-1-2 years working in any relevant ICT field
-Diploma in IT.
-CCNA is a must
